The practical PPWR software, taking you from supplier requests to signed declaration of conformity(DoC).
Simvia is the all-in-one PPWR software for PPWR conformity and PPWR reporting.

Standardise your packaging, food safety, and sustainability data

Keep your technical dossier up-to-date

Automate conformity assessment and DoC generation that holds up under inspection

STEP 1
Bulk data import: products
and packaging in one place
Upload all your product and packaging data in one go using a standardised, shareable Excel template. Within a few clicks everything lands in Simvia's PPWR compliance software in the right format: no formatting from scratch. This is where structured PPWR reporting begins.
STEP 2
Packaging data structured per product, clean and hierarchical
Our packaging compliance software turns your imported packaging and food product data into a clear, visual hierarchy. Mapping starts at SKU level and links to packaging units. Each packaging unit breaks down into its components, and each component maps to its material layers. Four levels, fully connected, giving you the clean data foundation that supplier engagement and PPWR compliance checks depend on.
STEP 3
Packaging data requests sent directly to suppliers, per SKU
Select the packaging data you need and hit send. Suppliers receive the request to complete a standardised packaging questionnaire, either in their Simvia account or by email.
On their end, AI-assisted extraction does the heavy lifting for completion: dimensions, materials, substance compliance, and more. Manual data entry is largely eliminated.
STEP 4
Instant compliance overview: what’s compliant, what's missing, where are the gaps?
Upload all your product and packaging data in one go using a standardised, shareable Excel template. Within a few clicks, everything lands in Simvia in the right format: no formatting from scratch. This is where structured PPWR compliance begins.
STEP 5
Keep your technical dossier complete, up-to-date, and audit-ready
Collect technical files from suppliers, keep them up-to-date as specs change, and maintain everything in one place as proof of PPWR compliance. Product specs, test reports, material declarations and more are stored per component and ready to demonstrate whenever needed.
STEP 6
PPWR Declaration of Conformity(DoC) generated in one click
DoC creation comes naturally once all five steps are complete. All compliant data is already in the platform: structured, verified & traceable. One click generates a PPWR-compliant Declaration of Conformity, ready to share with customers, auditors, or authorities.
This is how Simvia helps you build and maintain PPWR regulation compliance in practice

Responsibilities shift by PPWR-defined role: manufacturer, importer, and distributor.
Packaging data is unstructured and scattered across teams
Email and Excel across hundreds of products/SKUs breaks at PPWR scale
Your technical dossier is only as current as your last manual update
A Declaration of Conformity cannot be issued if the data behind it is incomplete
Supplier evidence collection with less manual back-and-forth
Know which packaging is compliant and which is not, at any moment
Your technical dossier is complete, up-to-date, and producible any time
Our solution supports your PPWR needs, and future compliance
"To be honest, many companies are currently overwhelmed by the requirements of the PPWR, and it is often unclear exactly how to implement them. This makes it all the more helpful that Simvia works closely with experts to collate all the information and present it in a clear and accessible way. This makes our work much easier and saves us a great deal of our own resources.‘

What PPWR success looks like for you and your team
manufacturer
Issue the Declaration of Conformity (Art. 15) & technical file, collect substance compliance data from suppliers. Applies regardless of where the packaging was physically made.

Most F&B companies hold more than one role across their product range. Your actual role may depend on contract terms, market structure, and specific packaging arrangements. We can help you define your role before acting.
Manufacturer, importer, or distributor: what PPWR requires from your role
Your role under PPWR determines exactly what you need to collect, sign, register, and maintain. Once you know your role, the obligations are clear.

PPWR Readiness: Phase 4 Monitor 2035-2038
Phase 4 is a monitoring phase, not an action phase, but that doesn't mean it can wait. A ten-year runway sounds generous until you consider that material substitution and infrastructure development happen on a similarly long timescale.

questions
What data do we need to collect from suppliers?
Does Simvia handle reporting beyond August 2026?
Yes. The platform is built to support ongoing compliance, including future recyclability assessments, and the requirements that come into force from 2026 until 2030. The data you collect now does not become redundant, it becomes the foundation.
How long does it take to get started with Simvia?
Onboarding is structured around your existing supplier data and packaging portfolio. Most customers are operational within a few weeks. We do not require a full data audit before you can start, we can start with what you have and build from there.
Singoli componenti
Metalli pesanti e relative analisi
