questions

Answers to the most asked questions

Can we track compliance for specific customer requirements?

Yes. You can set up requirement rules for each customer and tag suppliers accordingly.
This allows you to instantly see which suppliers meet specific requirements and quickly identify who you can work with for new customer opportunities.

How do we share information with customers or auditors?

You can easily share compliance data with customers or auditors directly from the platform.
Download documents individually or in bulk, export compliance reports, or review everything together during an audit. This makes it easy to provide the right information quickly and stay audit-ready.

What does Simvia do?

Simvia is a supply chain compliance platform that helps you collect, manage and share supplier and product information in one place. It automates document collection, validates compliance data, and gives you full visibility across your supply chain, from producers and processors to retailers.

What databases does Simvia connect to?

Simvia connects to GlobalG.A.P., BRCGS, FSSC, TRACES (organic), QS, PlanetProof, BioC and many more
Using supplier identifiers like a GGN or BRC site code, the platform automatically retrieves certificates and updates them daily, eliminating manual requests and ensuring your data is always up to date.

Do suppliers need to create an account to share information?

No. Suppliers do not need to create an account or log in to share information. They receive an email with a secure link where they can upload documents directly.
If a supplier works with multiple Simvia customers, they can optionally create a free account to upload documents once and share them with multiple buyers, saving time.

Can we generate compliance reports?

Yes. You can generate real-time compliance reports based on suppliers, products, regions, certification types, or customer requirements.
You can create custom views, filter data, and export everything to Excel. The dashboard gives you a clear, visual overview so you can quickly identify gaps and take action.
