Key takeaways

  • Simvia now offers a live connection with Eurofins Food, Feed, Water Benelux (LZV) that automatically retrieves lab results at the data level for enhanced supplier and product risk assessment.

  • The integrated lab-analysis module centralises supplier and product approval data in one platform, reducing fragmentation across systems.

  • Automated retrieval, organisation, and secure storage of lab results cuts manual work and speeds compliance reporting across products and suppliers.

Simvia and Eurofins LZV collaborate to enable simple lab analyses management

Simvia is excited to announce that it now has a live connection with Eurofins Food, Feed, Water Benelux (LZV). The connection is now available in the lab analysis module, which automatically retrieves lab results on a data level. This allows for enhanced risk assessment for every supplier and product.

Eurofins LZV is a part of Eurofins Scientific and a global player in food and feed testing. They offer supply chain solutions from the purchase of bulk raw materials to the final product at the retailer and specialize in contaminant analysis, market leader with the biggest scope under accreditation. This makes the partnership a powerful addition to Simvia for the shared client base.

Increasing requirements

AgriPlace Chain allows the automated management of customer requirements regarding analyses and certificates within one platform. Chain tackles the challenges of the complexity of the rising quality requirements from supermarkets, standards and other institutions.

One place for supplier & product approval

The connection helps Eurofins and Simvia clients to connect the dots regarding their supplier and product approval processes – all data is now automatically available in one place. Naturally, the connection only retrieves results safely and upon consent.

Automated insight in risks

‘’The Eurofins connection allows our clients to easily analyse and answer questions, such as which growers present the most significant risk, how many MRL violations a particular product has had, and where blacklisted active ingredients were previously found’’. According to the managing director of Simvia, Nico Broersen.

The Lab Analysis module automates the collection of results from laboratories and suppliers, which means less manual work and clear results. The pdf report and corresponding results are automatically retrieved, organized, and stored within the private connection with the lab, based on product, variety, supplier, and/or grower.
